Representation and Research Ethics Study

We are recruiting community members and community leaders who identify as Black and/or Latinx/a/o/e, 18 years or older, and live or work in Prince George’s county. You will be compensated $50 for participating in a 60-75 minute focus group where we will talk about barriers related to research participation, your ideas about how UMD can support your community, and what you want to learn from research.

Community and Resilient Environments Study

The C.A.R.E. study is currently looking for parents and teens who are either 18 years+ (parents) OR between 10-17 years (teens), and live in Ward 4 or 5 of Washington, D.C. You will be receive $40 and UMD gear (t-shirt, water bottle) for participating in a 60-90 minute interview where we will talk about how you think about your neighborhood, issues facing your community, and what types of research and outreach you would like to see from our lab.
